Payments Online

Please read these terms and instructions completely, prior to making your payment using your PayPal account !!!

First, if you do not already have an existing account with PayPal, it will be necessary for you to create one, it is free!  All information will be entered via secure server, directly thru the PayPal web site.  You will need basic personal information along with your preferred method of payment, i.e., credit card, check  (to obtain routing and account information), or debit card.  It will be necessary for you to provide your "billing address" associated with your method of payment ... meaning the address that your credit card or bank statement is sent to.  This is for "payment verification" purposes and will help avoid unauthorized transactions and protect you as well as K.L.M.  It may be a day or so before your information is verified and you will be able to activate your account.  After you have verified your account, you will be able to use PayPal for many of your online purchases.

K.L.M.'s policy is stated on the bottom of EVERY contract/estimate, that pricing is on a CASH basis and DUE at time of service.  You are still responsible to pay State and Local sales taxes. We are offering you the option to make payments online as a convenience to you, not K.L.M.  To offset the additional costs to K.L.M. for providing you with this option, it is necessary to impose a "Convenience Charge".
This "Convenience Charge" will equal three (3%) of your total bill, including NY State and local sales tax.  It will appear as a "shipping" charge ... now seeing as it is customary for K.L.M. to collect when the services are performed, and we aren't selling anything for shipment, it is being explained in advance that this "shipping" charge will represent the additional "Convenience Charge" that must be paid when making a payment for K.L.M.'s services online.
You are not obligated to use this payment feature and therefore are not required to pay a "Convenience Charge" if you pay by Cash or Check.

Once you have entered the amount of your invoice, bill, or total amount you wish to pay and the payment has been processed, it will be applied to your account at our office upon confirmation of the funds transfer.  Any error, omission, or discrepancy relating to NY State & local sales tax (8.5%) or the "convenience charge" of (3%) will be credited or debited to your account in our office and appear on your next statement from K.L.M.

By continuing from this point with the transaction, you are agreeing to the terms set forth above and understand that you are still responsible to pay NY State and local sales tax and understand that the "shipping" charge actually represents the "convenience charge" for using our online payment feature.
